Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the CTRL platform. By accessing or using CTRL, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. About CTRL

CTRL is a music bidding platform that allows venue guests to bid on songs in real time. DJs and venues retain full control over what gets played. CTRL facilitates bids and payments between guests, DJs, and venues.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or place bids on CTRL. By using the platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must not share your account with others or allow unauthorised access.
• You must provide accurate and up-to-date information when registering.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Bids and Payments

• All bids placed through CTRL are binding. Once submitted, a bid cannot be cancelled.
• Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment provider.
• Revenue is split between the venue, DJ, and CTRL as configured by the venue. CTRL's share is non-negotiable and displayed transparently before each bid.

5. DJ and Venue Responsibilities

• DJs retain the right to approve or decline any song request, regardless of bid amount.
• Venues are responsible for configuring their CTRL settings accurately, including revenue splits and permitted content.
• Neither DJs nor venues are obligated to play any song that violates their standards or applicable laws.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to manipulate bids or game the platform.
• Submit bids using fraudulent payment methods.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users, DJs, or venue staff.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or exploit any part of the platform.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and technology on the CTRL platform are owned by CTRL or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

8. Disclaimers

CTRL is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that bids will always result in a song being played. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CTRL's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to CTRL in the 30 days preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CTRL operates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes. Continued use of CTRL after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
